A Simple Idea

One pest can change everything.

I've worked extensively in biosecurity in the last seven or eight years.

It's a challenging field because anything that happens underwater is out of sight and out of mind. Getting people to care is challenging. And the issues and directives around biosecurity are usually complex rather than clear and present a barrier to communication.

For this Auckland Council project, we opted for a strong, simple message and commissioned illustration to drive the point home. Messaging is positive and non-judgemental focusing on the human as well as the ecological impacts to support behaviour change.
