One of my favourite projects of 2022 was weaving tales about the restored Percy Vos boatshed in Wynyard Quarter.
I was lucky enough to be able to combine some of my favourite things: boats, listening to old-timers talk about the past, and writing, for this comprehensive project for Auckland's Maritime Museum.
My role was to build a library of stories that could be used flexibly across tours, website content, signage and printed documents.
As an add-on to this I also conducted an oral history project with one of the stalwarts of New Zealand yachting, John Street.
