Developing this website was a special voluntary lockdown project for Titirangi School, which has held a special place in our family's hearts for ten years now.
I was so happy to hit the 'go live' button for the school over the weekend.
I have sat on the board of the school for nine years, and so I had some high level insights into what was needed including streamlining communications for staff and families, documenting the school's operations in a parent-friendly way, and helping it to be perceived for the school of choice for everyone living nearby.
Photos of local places and wildlife helped illustrate the values of the school and connect to the school's values, which are graphically based in images of Kauri, Keruru, Tui and Nikau. (They are currently being refreshed, and will be further integrated into the site later) Most of the images were taken by young photographers, now at high school, who are former students.
I am now handing it on to the school for its ongoing management.
